Terjemahan Melayu: Apabila seseorang marah kepada anda, senyum sahaja dan minta maaf kepadanya.

Ibu memegang tangan Alim lalu diusapnya. Alim terdiam. Alim memandang ke arah ibu dan tersenyum.

                                            

2. Teks Asal: When you are at the lowest point in your life, just remind yourself that it will go away soon. Time heals.

Terjemahan Melayu: Apabila anda berada di detik terendah dalam hidup anda, ingatkan diri anda bahawa ia akan segera hilang juga. Semuanya akan selesai seiring dengan masa.

Alim tidak faham mengapa ayam dan itiktiada di dalam reban. Alim sangkakan semua ayam dan itik sudah mati. Alim sedih. Alim menangis. “Alim, tengok tu!,” kata nenek sambil menunjuk kearah sekumpulan ayam dan itik di dalam reban ayam yang baru dibuat oleh atuk.

Terjemahan Melayu: Sayangi dan jaga diri anda terlebih dahulu sebelum anda cenderung mengasihi dan menjaga orang lain.

“Alim suka Sulaiman. Sulaiman kawan Alim,” kata Alim lagi sambil melambai ke arah MakCik Timah lalu masuk ke dalam rumah. MakCik Timah masih memandang ke arah Alim yang berjalan masuk ke rumah. MakCik Timah berdoa akan kesihatan dan kesejahteraan Alim sekeluarga.

Terjemahan Melayu: Saya tidak akan menilai anda. Saya hanya orang biasa.

Alim tersenyum. Alim tahu bahawa keluarga adalah penting. Alim tahu keluarga akan sentiasa menolong antara satu sama lain.

Cerita: Pada suatu pagi, semut api dan semut hitam sedang naik ke atas busut yang tinggi. Tiba-tiba angin bertiup kencang lalu mereka terjatuh ke dalam lopak air yang berada di sebelah busut. Mereka terkapai-kapai di dalamnya. Seekor kerengga ternampak apa yang berlaku. Dia menjatuhkan sehelai daun ke lopak air berhampiran mereka. Semut api dan hitam memanjat ke atas daun itu. Mereka berkata, "Terima kasih, kerengga. Kami akan menolongmu suatu hari nanti." (70 patah perkataan)
